Terms and conditions
Last updated: October 14, 2026
This is a translation of our Dutch terms and conditions (algemene voorwaarden). In case of any difference, the Dutch text prevails.
Article 1 – Definitions
In these terms and conditions:
- EasyMoza: the trade name under which StepFox, a sole proprietorship, sells products; located at Bosven 314, 5464 ND Veghel, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 18067248, VAT number NL001746929B54, reachable at info@easymoza.com;
- Customer: the other party of EasyMoza;
- Mosaic: a photo mosaic that the customer makes on the website from a main photo and their own small photos;
- Product: the mosaic as the customer orders it: as a digital file, a print or a video;
- Distance contract: a contract concluded through the website, without the customer and EasyMoza being in the same place at the same time;
- Terms and conditions: these terms and conditions of EasyMoza.
Article 2 – General
These terms and conditions apply to every contract between EasyMoza and the customer, also when third parties are involved in carrying it out (such as the printer and the carrier).
Deviations from these terms only apply if they have been expressly agreed in writing or electronically.
If a provision is void or annulled, the other provisions remain fully applicable. EasyMoza and the customer will then agree on a replacement provision that comes as close as possible to its purpose.
Article 3 – Right of withdrawal
Prints are made especially for the customer, from their own photos and according to their own choices. The right of withdrawal therefore does not apply to these custom-made products.
A digital file or a paid video is in principle subject to a right of withdrawal of 14 days. That right is lost as soon as delivery starts, if the customer has expressly agreed to immediate delivery before delivery and has declared to know that they thereby lose the right of withdrawal. The customer does so when ordering, with a separate checkbox that is not ticked in advance; EasyMoza confirms it in the confirmation email.
The fact that no right of withdrawal applies, or that it is lost, does not affect the customer's statutory rights if a product does not comply with the contract.
Article 4 – The price
All offers are without obligation, unless stated otherwise. Images and prices may change. EasyMoza is not bound by obvious printing, typesetting or programming errors.
The prices shown include VAT. Shipping of prints is free to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany; for other EU countries the shipping costs are shown before payment.
Article 5 – Formation of the contract
The contract is concluded when the customer places and pays for the order.
A free product, such as the free video, is ordered without payment; the contract is then concluded when the customer places the order.
EasyMoza confirms the order by email. As long as this confirmation has not been sent, the customer may dissolve the contract.
Article 6 – The mosaic
The mosaic is made automatically: for each tile of the main photo the website picks a small photo of the customer whose colour fits well.
The preview on the screen gives the best possible impression of the ordered mosaic. How good it looks depends partly on the photos the customer chooses, such as the sharpness of the main photo and the number and colours of the small photos.
With a print, small colour differences from the screen may occur, among other things due to the settings of a screen and the printing technique. Such normal differences are not in themselves a defect. The print must, however, comply with the contract and the chosen specifications.
Article 7 – Delivery and performance
Prints are made by EasyMoza's print partner and delivered to the address in the European Union that the customer gives when ordering.
A digital file is delivered through a download link by email and on the order page. The link works for 3 months; the customer keeps a copy of the file.
A video is delivered through a link by email and on the order page, with which the customer can watch, share and download the video (MP4). A paid video remains available for a year, the free video for 3 months; the customer keeps a copy.
EasyMoza delivers as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after the order, unless another period has been agreed. If that is not possible, the customer is informed as soon as possible and may dissolve the order free of charge; any amount already paid is then refunded within 14 days.
The risk of damage to or loss of a print lies with EasyMoza until it is delivered to the customer.
Article 8 – Use of the digital file and the video
The customer may keep and share the digital file for their own use and have it printed as often as they like, wherever they like.
EasyMoza is not responsible for a print that the customer has made elsewhere.
The music in the videos belongs to EasyMoza. The customer may keep, show and share the video with the music in it for their own use, also on the internet and social media. The music may not be used separately from the video.
Article 9 – Conformity and defects
EasyMoza ensures that the products comply with the contract, the stated specifications and the statutory requirements of conformity.
The customer reports defects or wrongly delivered products as soon as possible after discovering them, to info@easymoza.com, preferably with a photo. A report within 2 months of discovery is in any case in time; even after that, the customer's statutory rights do not automatically lapse.
EasyMoza looks into the report and works with the customer to find a suitable solution. Which solution the customer can demand depends on the circumstances and on the law; the customer's statutory rights remain fully in force.
To the extent that a defect is caused by the customer using the product incorrectly, editing it or having it edited, or exposing it to conditions for which it is not suitable, EasyMoza is not responsible for it.
This article is not an additional commercial guarantee and does not limit the customer's statutory rights.
Article 10 – Payment
Payment takes place online through Adyen, EasyMoza's payment partner. The customer reports any errors in payment details to EasyMoza immediately.
Orders are paid in advance. If the customer nevertheless does not pay an amount due on time, EasyMoza only charges collection costs if the statutory conditions are met: the customer first receives a free reminder with another 14 days to pay, and the costs are never higher than the law allows.
Article 11 – Complaints
The customer submits complaints about the performance of the contract as soon as possible, fully and clearly described, to info@easymoza.com. A complaint within 2 months after the customer discovered the defect is in any case in time.
EasyMoza answers complaints within 14 days of receipt. If a complaint needs more time, the customer receives an acknowledgement within 14 days with an indication of when a more detailed answer will follow.
If the customer and EasyMoza cannot resolve the matter together, the customer may submit the dispute to the competent court. Customers living in another EU country can also turn to the European Consumer Centre.
Article 12 – Copyright and content
The customer only uses photos and texts to which they hold the copyright, or for which they have permission or a valid licence for this use, and declares to be authorised to have them edited, printed and processed into a video by EasyMoza. If other people are recognisable in the photos, the customer makes sure that they may use those photos for this.
Material that violates the law or the rights of others is not processed; in case of criminal content EasyMoza reports it to the police.
The copyright in the material remains with the rights holder. The customer only gives EasyMoza the permission needed to make the ordered product, to keep it for as long as stated in the privacy statement, and to deliver it.
Article 13 – Liability
EasyMoza is liable for damage to the extent provided by law.
To the extent permitted by law, EasyMoza is not liable for indirect damage, for damage caused by temporary unavailability of the website, for damage resulting from properties of the photos the customer chooses themselves, or for damage because the customer provided incorrect or incomplete information.
These terms do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow this, such as in case of intent or deliberate recklessness, personal injury and product liability. They do not affect the customer's mandatory rights as a consumer.
Article 14 – Applicable law
The version of these terms that applied when the contract was concluded applies.
All contracts are governed by Dutch law; the Vienna Sales Convention (CISG) does not apply. A consumer living in another country keeps the protection of the mandatory rules of that country.
